Whoever thought a snowflake could become more beautiful? Well get ready for some serious color therapy! I love freshly fallen blankets of snow, but a soon as day two rolls around all that's left is a sad mixture of too many bags of trash and mud... So let's look on the bright side! See what you can do to transform winter's first snow fall into a rainbow of delicious color with a simple white coffee filter and moms basic set of food colors!

I discovered this activity last year around the same time -- and loved it so much that I decided to make it SHASTYE's January HAPPINESS Art Box project. It seems to be the perfect project for all ages -- with a little help from mom and dad of course. No one ever gets tired of the "big reveal" -- and with a little Contact Paper (which can be purchases from any discount store) you've created a beautiful color filled masterpiece to be enjoyed from every window in your home all winter long!
